6 Pound Chihuahua Blown Away By High Wind Found With Help Of Pet Psychic

One moment she was there, and the next, she wasn't.

On Saturday, raging 70-mile per hour winds picked up Tinker Bell, a 6-pound brown and black long-haired Chihuahua, and tossed her into parts unknown. Tinker Bell had been standing on a platform trailer at the Dixieland Flea Market in Waterford Township, Michigan. She was keeping her owners company at a stand they had set up at the flea market.

Her owners, Lavern and Dorothy Utley, enlisted 50 volunteers to help search for Tinker Bell, but to no avail.

Desperate, the Utleys consulted a pet psychic who advised them to look in a wooded field opposite the Dixie Highway--about three-quarters of from where they had been.

On Monday, the Utleys searched for Tinker Bell, and lo and behold, there she was.

Dirty and scared, but alive.

"That dog was so happy," Dorothy Utley told The Detroit News. "She just went wild. She was so hungry and we had to bathe her."
